Birch tar is a black creamy paste used in prehistory,antiquity and the Middle Ages for gluing : stone, wood, arrowheads, arrows binding thread, arrow feathers, etc.

It gives off a characteristically strong odour, which fades slightly over time.

You'll be able to mount your arrows with historical glue and increase their re-enactment level.

Birch tar also has many other uses:

- Gardening: insect repellent, gastropod repellent, tree care.

- Leather and wood protection.

- Cosmetics: used in the composition of soaps, creams, shampoos.
