Viking Tortoise Brooches
These large oval brooches, called "Tortoise Brooches", are typical of the jewellery worn by Viking women.
They emphasize your dress, but also have a role of fixing for the apron dress.
These brooches were sometimes chained together, that allowed small utilitarian objects (tweezers, scissors, knife...) to hang from it.
Sometimes they were bound by a cord on which was strung glass beads; indicating social standing.
