Faithful reproduction of the Viking helmet found at Gjermundbu and visible at the historical museum of Oslo, Norway.

Fine work and big solidity, this helmet allows you to use it safly during your battles reenactments.

This helmet typically Viking is called " spectacle helmet ".

The eyes protection is made of 3mm thick steel, that gives a strengthened protection.

The helmet is made of 2mm thick steel sheet, it is thus very solid, so you will be able to take blows during your battle reenactment !

The periphery of the helmet is pierced with holes, allowing you to eventually attach a mail curtain to the sides and the back (not supplied).

The leather chin strap is made from vegetable greased leather and equipped with an historical hand forged iron buckle, sewn with a waxed linen thread.

This helmet is worn with a woolen cap (not supplied) or a gamboised cap (not supplied).

This helmet is sold without suspension liner.
